A secret crush confess-a-thon from Fringe newcomer Lizzy Mace

Have you ever had a crush on someone and never dared tell them? What if you contacted the object of your affection years later and finally confessed? What if you contacted everyone you’ve ever had a secret crush on and told them all? Lizzy Mace has decided to do just that, and in her new 50-minute show she invites you to share the highs and lows with her – the toe-curling embarrassment, the surprising responses, and absolutely everything in-between.

Re-telling the experience through stand-up, sketches and video, Lizzy explores crushes from every angle. She might even throw in a pie chart for good measure.

Lizzy Mace studied at Cambridge and went on to train in acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She played Mrs Smith in The Bald Prima Donna at the New Players’ Theatre last August, and was later invited to take part in The Sitcom Trials at Leicester Square Theatre. She has previously played to sell-out audiences with comedy sketch groups Moulin Exes and Messrs Comedy, and with improvisers The Amazing Spectacles. She is currently an actor-member of the London Comedy Writers and long-form improvisation group Multistory, and has recently worked with immersive comedy performers Gideon Reeling. This is her debut Fringe performance. Lizzy’s Spotlight CV is available at www.lizzymace.co.uk

Lizzy is proud to be part of the Free Fringe, which has been bringing free shows to the public since 1996. Run by performers for performers on a co-operative basis, the Free Fringe is about artists supporting each other, and is a good deal for the public, the performer and the venues. For more information on the Free Fringe please see www.freefringe.org.uk
